I started preparing for the .com/.net price increase about two months ago (wish I hadn’t–LONG STORY)… so this isn’t really a big deal to me anymore. I renewed a majority of domains till 2010, a few till 2011, and some premiums till 2013. I figured I might as well and save my 2-3$… why not? [...]

So I’m in the middle of writing a unique article and was notified that the latest DNJournal “Top domain sales for the week” list has been released for August 4, 2008 through August 10, 2008. You guys know how much I love these! I’m probably going to start adding more interesting facts when I do [...]

Alright… I’d expect some .ME prices to naturally go for a lot (a couple thousand) and other mediocre names to sell for hundreds… but what the heck is going on? Publicity stunt? Take a look at some of these domains being sold and their current auction price tags:

There was a major SERP update a month or so ago. When it happened, a LOT of people starting posting on the forums. What exactly happened? Who knows. Have been waiting to post about this on my blog ever since I noticed what was going. Finally back and doing some investigating as to what caused [...]

Yep… back… but with a catch:
You are receiving this email because you have grace deleted a domain, or you are a bulk customer.
On July 5 we removed grace deletions from our system because ICANN is no longer refunding their $0.20 fee for domains deleted in the first 5 days. Many customers contacted us and were [...]

Argh… the day has finally come–Dynadot.com terminates “Grace Deletions” on July 5, 2008. This means that if you buy a domain… you will have to keep it for a year. No more “Woops… ‘Request Delete For Credit’” and get your credit back and buy another domain.
Kinda sucks, right? Well those who abused the system probably [...]

Break or not–I still need about one to two hours online per day. You just need to make sure things are in order and not going haywire while you try to enjoy yourself. I’ve found a pretty decent spot to sit and enjoy myself on my (now with me) laptop… so I’ll try to start [...]

I’m absolutely fed up with non-paying bidders. It’s also extremely frustrating going through the hassle of wasting your time due to non-paying bidders… so much effort into something so stupid. Recently been trying to sell some domains and I’ve been bailed on twice in the last 2 weeks.
If you’re a seller, I suggest you do [...]

So I was sitting around yesterday and was asked about selling links by a friend. I got him some resources and ran into an extremely interesting video on Matt Cutt’s blog.
He went to Web 2.0 (a ‘web’ show type event) and did a little presentation about “What Google Knows About Spam”. I really enjoyed watching [...]
