Don’t Be Scared! AdSense Earnings Still Calculated the Same Way

Posted on | December 12, 2009 | 2 Comments

The word “estimated” is now included in “Today’s [estimated] earnings $xx” within your AdSense account reports page.

BUT! Don’t be alarmed:

Rest assured these terminology changes don’t reflect a change to the way your finalized earnings are calculated. It’s simply intended to give you a clearer idea of what’s our estimation of your earnings and what’s finalized.

So, if you had a scare like I did and thought AdSense was now going to start shaving more pennies off CPC, it’s just a small word change (or is that what they’re trying to make us believe?). Worth knowing about. A note about a messaging change in your AdSense account
