The way it can be monetized and branded for $18,000 was just absolutely ridiculous. I was really considering bidding on it, but just way too much on my plate right now to drop $20K on a domain. Once the economy stabilizes a bit, I truly believe that the $18,000 price tag will be peanuts. SmartPhones.com was also a decent sell. Not spectacular, but OK. SanJose.net at $7K was also a great deal. Lots of people saying .net has taken an 80% hit in prices. Not sure I believe 80%, but wow... there are some steals right now out there. I don’t think most of the people searching for “shows” would be look for high priced broadway tickets, more like looking for information on tv shows etc which is low value.
