Kumo Gets Branded By Microsoft – Search Engine Pic Leaked
Posted on | March 5, 2009 | 3 Comments
Kumo, the new search engine Microsoft plans to take over Google with, has been officially Microsoft branded with the Microsoft favicon when you go to http://www.kumo.com.
There have also been leaked pictures of the kumo interface on venturebeat.com. As of right now it’s just being internally tested and experimented with, but hopefully they’ll be releasing soon. I have to agree with the venturebeat writer that they would really be screwing up if they planned on going with the look in the picture. It’s semi nice, but could definitely use a more simplistic layout.
Will definitely be keeping my eye open on kumo. Sounds very interesting.

This page really does look like a parking page! Lets just hope that it will not look like that otherwise there will be no competition for Google.

Exactly!
I definitely agree with the comments. Microsoft has the cash to make it known, but not the smarts to get it working right! Hopefully they prove us wrong. VERY interested in seeing the final result.
