A pretty funny little “reddit” I saw just now:
Absolutely hilarious… at least for me. This is that chick on a bunch of eNom domains, and it has been discussed before that it’s just a picture from iStockPhoto (remember seeing that somewhere on Digital Point forums). I found it pretty funny that they mentioned the word “squatted” in the title. That’s all domain parkers are, squatters, huh? Oh well. lol. Read the discussion here. Related to domaining to get a “voyeur” view of people talking about domain parking. Plus it made it to the front page of Reddit, so people definitely thought something of it!
Cybersquatting (also known as domain squatting), according to the United States federal law known as the Anticybersquatting Consumer Protection Act, is registering, trafficking in, or using a domain name with bad faith intent to profit from the goodwill of a trademark belonging to someone else. The cybersquatter then offers to sell the domain to the person or company who owns a trademark contained within the name at an inflated price.

I have seen this many times too. I’m not sure who it is but I shake me head and laugh every time I come across her.

. I remember a thread from DP about it with more information regarding who she was exactly since many people considered her a “celebrity” due to the parked pages using her pic and then this coming up today made it even more amusing to me, lol.
