NameDrive’s New NDX Market – Another Way To Sell And Buy Domains

Namedrive has recently announced that they created a new domain buying and selling platform named “NDX Market“.
NDX Market – a service that will provide domainers with a fast, secure and powerful public marketplace for buying and selling domains.
It might seem like any other domain buying and selling service, but NDX has one important feature: it supports IDNs (international domain names). Sedo was the only other service that supported extremely limited IDN selling through its “This domain might be for sale” link, but it seems like NDX will be accepting IDNs on a full-scale for buying and selling:
We have always had an all-inclusive ethos rather than exclusive one, so you will be able to buy any kind of domain you are after on NDX Market. Even at the beta stage, you can list all TLDs, languages and even IDN domains. Most other markets focus on the US side of things, we like to see the Internet from a more global perspective.
I’m not 100% sure how this service will be implemented, but it definitely seems interesting. I do find it a bit ironic that NDXMarket.com is parked using Namedrive 
. It is owned by someone in Germany… and Namedrive being a German company, it might in fact be owned by them. Who knows?
For those that are wondering, Namedrive currently does have some sort of marketplace active. It’s called “Park&Sell”. It’s a domain buying and selling platform where sales are done through the revenue generated by a domain. I see NDX Market as a platform that will take a similar approach to Sedo’s selling practices (marketplace, brokering, escorw, etc). There will be (3) types of selling options:
- Best offer
- Public Auction
- Buy Now
It hasn’t exactly been released yet, but Ed from Namedrive made a post on Namepros saying that they have 50 “keys” available for beta testers.
Definitely looks cool. I will post more information once it’s released.
