Stever Jobs Left Apple For “6 Months” – Analysts Say Probably Forever?

Posted on | January 15, 2009 | 1 Comment

Steve Jobs recently announced that he will be taking a 6-month leave from Apple. Jobs has seriously been a huge part of Apple–and, to be honest with you, the Apple image. I’ve had talks with some people that purchased Apple stock just because of Jobs’ creativity, and are now looking to get rid of it. For a post on Trend Domaining, I even made a little 2009 predicition that Apple was going to release some sort of new revolutionairy product… like either the iPhone or the iPod–but do I still think so even with Jobs leaving for half the year due to medical reasons? (I still do)

The only thing about this is: analysts are saying the Steve Jobs probably won’t return to Apple. (@ Wired)

“My bet is he’s not coming back,” said Roger Kay, an Endpoint Technologies analyst. “Despite all the protestations, I think he has cancer. They talk about digestive this and digestive that, but … forget all the buzz you’re hearing. Just look at the photos.”

Not really much to say except that I wish the best for Jobs. This is pretty big news considering I consider Steve Jobs a major part of Apple.

I’m truly worried about this deal brother as Appl is a significant portion of my personal stock portfolio. I sure hope that he recovers 100% for a whole bunch of reasons!
