It’s actually something I believe has long been overdue, but at the same time… pretty scary. If Google somehow manages to monopolize domain parking (I highly doubt it with their hideous landing templates), then OTHER domain parking companies might run into some problems. BUT… if I start getting 50cent clicks on a domain that has only been getting 10cent clicks at another parking company… Google will get my domains. The only thing, like I mentioned, this is probably going to mean a LOT more information regarding domains and the way traffic works on the net is going to readily be available at Google’s fingertips.

The power they are getting is just seriously unbelievable… but you have to admit, they pretty much are doing what’s expected of them, and a decent job at it, too.

I’m assuming in the future there will be more customization options for this feature, but this is probably a bit of testing the water for the time being. They have reportedly been against “parking” for a while and even had a suit brought against them for a landing page with Google advertisements. We’re just going to have to wait and see what happens. I’m currently in the process of just moving around a bunch of names and figuring out what works where with the most returns, so this is definitely a POSSIBLE option for me at this point.

Oh well. There can just be so much said about this subject… it’s a REALLY big and bold move by the big ‘ol G.

(Its an easy guess as to who all the domainers will now be running to, lol!)
