Full Chinese URL Launched By Chinese Government: 中国政府.政务

Take a look at the picture. Translation from Chinese to English: ChinaGovernment.gov (In native Chinese: 中国政府.政务)
Native Chinese IDN.IDN
Note: IDN.IDN only works within China. It hasn’t been “globalized” yet… so going to the IDN.IDN url will NOT work. This is the URL in English: gov.cn
Internet Explorer 7/Firefox IDN Link outside of China (IDN.cn): http://www.中国政府.政务.cn
Also, in order to see the Chinese characters, you will have to install the Chinese font-pack on your OS! Most will probably see boxes.
中国政府.政务

http://www.中国政府.政务.cn is the same as
http://www.%E4%B8%AD%E5%9B%BD%E6%94%BF%E5%BA%9C.%E6%94%BF%E5%8A%A1.cn
The second one is percent-encoded so it can be sent to any user irrespective of display/font support and on any device, even SMS or hand-written. For detailed info on this read http://unescape.hereweb.com/CaseStudy.pdf using Firefox or http://snow.byethost17.com/unescape/CaseStudy.pdf using Google Chrome browser. The encoding or decoding can be done at http://unescape.hereweb.com for free!
