Random AdSense Rant Post

Warning: I had 20 minutes before class available to blog, so I decided to write something extremely random.
Not really about AdSense, but just some of the users I see online in general… It seems as though everyone online loves AdSense and wants to prosper by using it on their site. After a while, I’m assuming some people get the temptation to start click-exchanges, click-fraud, etc… and then lo and behold… they get an e-mail from AdSense telling them they’ve been banned.
A little venting through the forums then happens and ideas then start sparking about creating a new AdSense account under a family/friends address.
This is possibly what goes on in their mind:
Success! New identity! I’ve created a new blogger account and my payments will still come. I don’t live in the United States therefore there is no need for a SSN (social security number). I’m going to start making millions (again)!
It just doesn’t make sense to me. Everyone says to sit and get a new domain and then just sign up for another account to bypass AdSense’s ban. What about the old domain? What the hell happens to it? It just seems that a lot of the people that’d suggest something like this had a BS site and were knowingly engaging in some sort of action that breached the AdSense TOS (terms of service).
Are domains that you’ve helped build worthless to you? Have you done such a half-assed job that you wouldn’t care if you needed to swtich domains and start copy-pasting articles all over again in order to start getting weird random traffic from shady sites? I’m not sure, but it just makes no sense to me why people would sit and waste their time. Why not put in all that effort and create on decent site and really put your heart into it. Do your best to prevent click-fraud (start by not engaging in it) and promote the best user experience on the site.
Is there a difference? I think so. You are now “bonding” with the website (as funny as that sounds) and might actually start to care.
Feels sort of weird posting this. Not sure if anyone cares, but the SEO benefit is making me post it
. Hopefully it encourages a higher desire to create a site you would care about if it were to be banned by AdSense/Google’s index. There’s just so many threads by people getting banned and desperately trying to bounce back up by signing up under some sort of other address/name. Why put yourself in that position to start out with? If you do care about the site and maintain it the way it should be and care to take all these pre-cautions, getting banned from AdSense would be nothing else than trying hard to get the same site reinstated by bombarding AdSense with quality e-mails pleading for mercy with logs and evidence that you in fact had nothing to do with whatever problems were occuring.
Time to get up and leave! Take care everyone!
P.S: This post was not directed towards anyone. Just decided to pour out some thoughts.
