“Is a .COM movement used to stifle the growth of domaining with respect to alt TLD’s?”

I know… I know… lack of updates. Don’t remind me… there’s been nothing that I’ve been able to find that makes me “want to blog.” I’ve had a very very interesting domaining week. AdSense is doing a bit better (I think I jinxed it for today, but OK…)… Parking Panel is taking 3-4 days to update stats… Bodis CPC is down the drain… met a fellow domainer… and had a couple extremely interesting conversations on MSN.
All this and I had nothing to blog about? Yep. Damnit!
Moving on… there’s a thread going on at Namepros right now that I think deserves some attention. It is nice to see some people discuss why .com is where it is at and what people think about other TLDs. I agree with some of the comments that say the new TLDs are harder to “want to” invest in only because the main three– .com, .net, and .org–are the ones everyone is familiar with.
Check it out: Is a .COM movement used to stifle the growth of domaining with respect to alt TLD’s?
