Fidel Castro Resigns - Raul Castro President of CubaHoly crap. Was up late and checked out hotmail and just saw that Fidel Castro has just resigned as Cuba’s leader–12 minutes ago! Freakin’ 49 years of rule.

“I will not aspire nor accept — I repeat I will not aspire or accept — the post of President of the Council of State and Commander in Chief,” His brother has taken over, Raul Castro, as president. Fidel Castro, ex-Cuban president, will still be head of Cuba’s Communist Party.

President Bush now hopes that since Fidel Castro has stepped down as Cuban President that Cuba will become a democratic country.

Alright, I’m not a news reporter. This is just damn huge news.

Why can’t the united states mind their business and stay out of world affairs and concentrate on bringing the states economic back on point.
