Three Parking Providers On “Ask” Feed

I mentioned on Valentine’s Day that I’d put up some quotes. Here they are! This is probably the last posting about this situation since things aren’t clear/everything is speculation… and I hate speculation.

Got responses from (3) providers:

Parking Panel (in regards to adult feed and PP):

I would consider any talk of this 100% hearsay.

Bodis:

If the syndication deal ends between Ask and Google, then we have plenty of backup ad providers to use. If the syndication deal between Ask and Google remains as it is, then we will continue to use them both.

If in any extreme cases in the future, anything does ever happen to any of our syndication deals, whether it is Google, Ask, or some other ad network, we always have backup ad providers. Our backup providers are certainly not the worst.

Skenzo:

Please note that Skenzo’s Customers are NOT impacted AT ALL. If you are a Skenzo customer, you can speak to your account manager for more details.

So, there you have it. Nothing going on? Who knows. I’m just going to be waiting till March 1st.

On another note, someone mentioned they received their Paypal payment from Parking Panel and it said “Stay tuned for some exciting ParkingPanel.com announcements coming this Spring!” I’m hoping this is something good for our revenues sake. Mine has literally gone to the toilet with them. In talks with Britt at the moment to see what’s going on with at least one of my domains.

Other than that, there’s really nothing else. Writing this afternoons draft post in a little bit, and will be writing a guest post for my buddy Jason at TheUniversityKid.com in a few days (right?). Got into affiliate advertising a couple days ago yet haven’t had any free time to really take it seriously. Have only made $3.60 with it, but I’m seeing potential. Problem is it seems like it’s going to take a lot of reading/trial to get it running the way I’d probably like. Will see what I can do with it… or if I even want to bother. Got so much on my plate right now from making sure my revenue makers don’t slip in the SERPs, Parking Panel revenue decrease, other revenue decreases, school, midterms…
