Microsoft And Yahoo News Buzzing In The Blog World – $44.6 Billion

The news of the recent announcement that Microsoft wants to–and “won’t take no for an answer (Microsoft Chief Executive Steve Ballmer)”–purchase Yahoo has quickly (wild fire quickly) made it to almost every blog this morning.
For those of you who don’t know yet (I’m sure a majority of the human race already know), Microsoft sent Yahoo an unsolicited offer of $44.6 Billion dollars to buy it out. With Yahoo’s stocks requiring Pepto Bismol, this might actually be a savior for Yahoo shareholders. The news sent Yahoo’s stocks up about 45%. Huge jump, ay? We were just talking about how crappy the stock was YESTERDAY.

About the actual news… there really isn’t much to comment about. About domaining news… this is FREAKIN’ HUGE. Someone wants to come out and try and slaughter Google at their game? I’m not exactly sure what will happen. All I know is…

Hello,

I’ve been working so hard on my sites (directory submission, link exchange, etc) but my adsense income is going up a little bit (a few bucks a month), which I am disappointed somewhat…

I am thinking about building a website (s) that has completely different content from others, so my children can use and make tons of money out of it. I am talking about next 20, 30, 50 years, what will happen to Adsense? because I want to prepare it by creating some websites that my children can use.

What niche of site is good for next 20, 30, or 50 years? I currently have online dating service websites but they are not good for the next 50 years because I think people do not look for love online by the year of 2050.

What do I think will happen in regards to the merger? I seriously think this might go down. I’m considering buying some stock right now… let’s see what will happen. The hell with January, February is on fiiiiiiiiyahhhhh.
