Host Gator Hosting Issues With Fka200.com

Posted on | January 31, 2008 | 2 Comments

My hosting provider, Host Gator, is currently having issues with their servers. Supposedly something is wrong with their “global network.” Just wanted to post about it since I was getting some IMs about there being a problem with the site.

I finished my blog post for the morning a couple moments ago, so expect an update once things go back to normal with Host Gator! This is a very targeted blog post, so I’m not sure if everyone will actually read/enjoy it. It took me a while to write, so the hell if I’m not posting it ;) . LOL.

Have a great day everyone! Weather in Los Angeles is damn beautiful today. Sunny semi-clear sky and a temperature of 60°F (~15°C)!

That is why DotWeekly.com just moved from them. ;)

I did a face-lift to DotWeekly.com and moved servers due to so much downtime with HostGator. Then I had “time” issues with the server I moved to, so that killed me the past 2 days. Finally, it’s fixed and ready to go.

Best of luck with HostGator.com, I moved on…

I’ve been honestly getting fed up with my hosting companies. I’m thinking about switching–especially from WebberCo (WOW… don’t get me started. Things just started shaping up from them, however)–but the unlimited domains feature + having everything already situated keeps with me Host Gator.

I still remember when they wanted to charge me to cancel my hosting/change the plan. Don’t remember which it was, but I’m sure they charge for both. I ended up saying forget it and I’ll keep it the way it is.

Will be checking out DotWeekly.com now. Looks like a nice redesign!
