SEO Blog I Found On Digital Point Forums
Posted on | January 27, 2008 | 6 Comments
An extremely short and quickie blog post… I was browsing Digital Point Forums and found an interesting blog. I spent my night at home and was doing some research on Search Engine Optimization (SEO) tips. I wanted to learn more about Keyword Density and was Googling all night… after finding little to none information about what I really desired, I hit DP to see what was going on. Then I saw a post member shaums made and looked at the RSS feed added to his name… “Keyword Density – A Survey Of The Pros.” Interesting, I thought. I clicked and started reading… wow… stats… finally! I took a look around the blog and just thought this has to be one of the best Search Engine Optimization (SEO) blogs I’ve ever seen. Granted I don’t search often for SEO blogs, but this one was just great. His blog is SEONoobs.com. I figured since I found it useful, other people might also. I recommend checking it out. I have to admit, this comment on his post really made me interested to initially search around the blog…
Anyway, SEO pays all of my bills – so I’m tipping my hat =D
on this DP thread. It has a ton of resources. So … check it out. I’m not huge on SEO, yet I try. Somehow search engines always come to my sites, but I know I’m never fully utilizing the resources I have. I’ll definitely be checking out SEONoobs.com–along with more searching–tomorrow… to see what I can do to my current sites to raise revenue. My motto is… “Targeted Traffic Is Money!” I’m lacking the “pro” skills at getting my sites to the top of the search engines for keywords I really want. I signed up to his RSS feed to see if I could keep up with the SEO world. I missed out on some recent “SEO Guru” news that I found on his blog… damn! Some of my sites starting slipping the SERPS so this is a definite must read for me. I’ve been doing great with long-tail keywords, but I want to try ranking for simple words. Alrighty… till tomorrow morning/afternoons blog post!

Seriously, I just spent 2 hours reading through! The only negative comment I have about your blog is the design kicks my blogs ass. Everyday different blogs are just making me consider a HUGE redesign!
I’ve got a long way to go with SEO. The only thing I hate to do is backlinks. They annoy me to hell… except building backlinks to the blog… where 0 income is made, ha!
Anytime Ryan! Will definitely be a regular reader at SEONoobs. The feedburner e-mails should keep my updated.

that’s cause he forked out money for his magazine theme. Nice theme but I would prefer blogs to look more like blogs…

DomainHolics – I hear ya..but I’ve done the regular blog theme many times in the past with several different blogs, and only now have I realized the marketability of a more magazine style layout.
It’s just like when you are running a regular website – having a more professional feel to it will instill trust in the potential customer, and they’re likely to come back – compared to just using a regular, run of the mill free template that are all over the place.
Again, I’m not knocking free themes/templates(because I’ve used plenty in the past), but if you want to get serious about repeat visitors, and establishing yourself as a trustworthy and authoritative figure, it’s worth investing in a nice look.
Sammy – I totally hear you on the backlinks…it’s an ongoing process that is tedious, at best. Oh well, that’s why someone invented “linkbait”, right? hehe
Seeyas!

Wat I know is if anyone want to get high rank for any keyword into search engine then they must have to check the keyword density for that page.

I just recently been taking a look at keyword density. Going to leave a site I edited up for about 2-3 weeks and see how it does! Hoping to get top 10 back.
