Apple Unveils The World’s Thinnest Laptop – The MacBook Air

Crazy. Insane. Gorgeous. Most likely Expensive. These are some of the words I’m using to describe the *images* of Apple’s latest laptop–the world’s thinnest laptop. I have a “technology” category here on Fka200.com and hoped to only post about tech things that I felt were worth it. This will be the first post in that category and there’s nothing more wonderful than popping the technology section’s cherry with this news.
In San Francisco Apple unveiled the world’s thinnest laptop–1.93CM thick and weighs less than 1.5KG (~3.30lbs). The thing is there’s no CD/DVD drive! I think that may be a negative thing, but for some people, it really doesn’t matter. This will be able for sale in the United States at the end of January. It’ll be released worldwide at the end of 2008.
I think this laptop is damn nice. I’m guessing this is going to be one of those $2,000+ laptops that Apple has. I’m definitely going to go to the Apple Store at the end of the month to check this out. I’m not a huge Mac fan, but damn… isn’t this thing nice?!
