Report On Search Marketing – MUST READ + Other

There was a report that was published by AdAge about Search Marketing. This doesn’t really need to be a long post since I’d rather you guys just read about it straight from AdAge here:
It may be a little long for some peoples taste buds, but it really is worth reading. It’s a 5.88MB PDF file, so just a forewarning.
Quick things in the reports:
People ignore PPC ads 88.5% of the time – the PPC ad click through rate is only 11.5% in total. This means that SEO is a critical tactic for reaching the vast majority of people who ignore ads.
Google hired 5,000 people in 2006, doubling their workforce, and on average Google generates $950,000 in revenue for each employee it has.
Information about the search engines: Google, Yahoo, MSN. Breakdowns by gender, etc.
Must read, IMO. It was actually really good and interesting, but it was long. Free up some time. Get some popcorn/a drink, and read!

Lol, Kind of a cheap win, but hey… I’m happy! I always submit my articles after publishing them to BlogEngage. Good way to get indexed quicker and get your articles seen. Offer your users something unique. Trust me.
Taking a look at your site, http://www.bestfun4u.net, It looks really nice, but there’s not much going on. The layout is good, but there’s lack of content. Content is needed for proper SEO.
I’d word on the ads on the game page also. The way it is now is more based on getting people to click than wanting to come to the site. Getting repeat visitors is extremely important if you want to make your site very good.
You must also sit and link build + spread the word about your site. Before doing this, I do suggest that you sit and sort through the kinks in the site so if traffic does start to appear, they don’t run away from the ads all over the place.
