Parked Websites… Make Sure It’s In Your Account!

I was recently approached by an end-user to purchase a domain. I didn’t know how much I wanted to let the domain out of my hands, so I decided to check my parking stats. I went to the website and saw that it was parked with my not-so-normal default template setting… I logged into my Namedrive account and did a search for the domain and…
THE DOMAIN WASN’T IN MY ACCOUNT! I was wondering why I was forwarding the nameservers to Namedrive if I hadn’t added the domain to my account?! Foolish mistake? It would take me DAYS to sit and check that my domains are individually are parked correctly. Apparently testing by nameservers sucks as well.
This is the error I got with Namedrive:
Damnit. I’ve already taken my sweet time to respond, now I’m going to have to see the stats for the next 2-3 days to make an educated price to sell.
Well, just thought I’d share a small piece of advice in letting people to MAKE SURE THE DOMAIN IS IN YOUR ACCOUNT–especially if you buy expired domains. If you have a small portfolio it might be easy to check, but larger domain portfolio holders might have to free up a week and make sure everything is OK. I’m due for a whole delete my domains @ Namedrive and reorganizing my folders! Part of my whole “New Years Resolutions For Domainers.” LOL.
P.S: Great news Remember the issue with David Airey? The whole GMail Vulnerability Issue…? Well, he got his domain, davidairey.com, back! Awesome news.
