EntreCard – Interesting Concept

If you guys didn’t notice, I took the plunge and signed up for EntreCard. I saw their video a while ago, but didn’t think anything of it. What made me sign up? Well, everyone was doing it. Since everyone was doing it, I figured I might as well go ahead and test it out so I can see if they DO send traffic (this is assuming my card gets placed on related sites).
So, I went and started racking up some credits (currently at 263–don’t know if that’s a decent number or not). I’m going to wait till I’m at 500 or so credits and start placing one-day EntreCard ads on different blogs. I’ll be targeting high traffic sites, such as JohnChow.com, if I get the opportunity to buy the ad spot (his advertising spot has been full since I’ve checked). His spot is also pretty “expensive.” At 298 credits/day, I’d expect to get some traffic out of it. Right? Not so sure… supposedly EntreCard sent me “93 clicks.” The thing is, to get a credit you need to drop off your card. This means you can go to random blogs daily and just drop off your card and earn a credit. To me it = useless traffic. Traffic that just makes people come to your blog to drop off their card.
I’m still not to sure about EntreCard. I see it as another BlogRush.com. I sent them tons of traffic and got nothing in return… so hopefully we’ll see some light with EntreCard. If you need some credits, just drop off your card. The widget is in the sidebar. Will keep you guys updated if anything interesting happens. You are right many people are signing up on Entrecard. Good luck with gaining more traffic.
